Charles is a devoted Christian and proud father of two wonderful children, Charles and Adria. His son has just graduated from UMBC in Computer Science and Psychology working in software development for General Dynamics. His daughter will graduate Washington University in St. Louis this May and is a linguist in French, Spanish, Italian and Arabic and future lawyer. Charles is currently enrolled in Carver Bible College.
Charles is also a competitive bass fisherman, fast boat owner, a Chinese linguist and a modest chess player. He enjoys community service and often works with young children and adults to teach them about Christ, about science and mathematics both in California and Georgia.
He is the Past-President of a large non-profit fishing organization in Atlanta and has led his team to receiving the Henry Ferris Award for the State of Georgia two consecutive years, 2004 and 2005.
Charles has participated in tutoring in Programs for the Acceleration of Careers In Engineering (PACE) and volunteers as a mentor to young executives as part of the the Menttium 100 porgram.
