About Chijen William:

Hello!

Thank you for visiting my profile!

I'm originally from Japan and I have been tutoring since I started studying for my undergrad at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland.

I mainly have been tutoring Japanese but I can tutor basic algebra, Math SAT, and TOEFL. I have taken prep courses in Princeton Review multiple times and are very familiar with the way they help students improve their scores.

I have about 4 years of tutoring experience mainly in Japanese and I tutor based on my student's need. I can assess that while I teach and directly from the student's feedback.

Overall I strive to create a fun, casual environment for the student.

More On Chijen William's Subjects:

  • Japanese

Hello, I've been privately tutoring Japanese for 4 years to students at various level ranging from beginners to advanced. I'm a very patient, easy going person and I have taught more students with little to no experience in Japanese so I'm dedicated in introducing the language in a easy form. About my background with Japanese. I grew up in Japan till I traveled to US for my bachelors in Johns Hopkins University and I have taken their advanced Japanese class to get an idea of difficulty of college level Japanese. At that time I was already tutoring Japanese to some of my friends and taking the course was a great experience to assess US curriculum as well as receive an extra A from the class. I can also provide reference from my current student's parent and they've been pleased with my diversified style of teaching using various media from DVD, textbooks, to Japanese Graphic Novels. Lets learn and enjoy Japanese with me, Yoroshiku Onegai Shimasu! :)
