I am very passionate about tutoring math. I started tutoring math my first year of college and haven't stopped since then. I've tutored many areas of mathematics, from high school level to university level. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Education. I also have a Master of Science Degree in Mathematics Teaching. In addition I have taught developmental math classes as a graduate student at Texas Woman’s University. I have been through tutor training at my last job in Texas and became a CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) Certified Tutor. I have a Secondary Teaching Certification in Mathematics from the state of Texas. I really enjoy teaching and tutoring math. I try to relate math to real life situations so that the students can relate. My goal is to make the student understand and if that requires me to repeat concepts a numerous amounts of time, then I will do so. I will not let the student stay confused and hanging. I love to work with kids and I would hate to see any of my students struggle and get frustrated over math concepts; therefore, I will be at their rescue to the best of my ability.
