I was raised in Brookline, MA, and recently graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Biology and Art History. I am now settled full-time back in the Boston area and am available for your tutoring needs.
I have extensive background in teaching/tutoring at the K-8 and high school level. In addition to the hard sciences (including Mathematics) and English-related subjects, I am fluent in Spanish, having completed the minor at Dartmouth.
I am a very thorough and methodical teacher -- I do not cut corners. I am also very easy to get along with, engaging, and approachable. I have many different types of skills, hobbies, and interests (e.g., I am an avid Boston sports fan), which allows me to adapt very easily to engage students in a variety of ways. Accordingly, I have worked successfully with students ranging in background, ability, and interests.
Many of the students I have worked with are used to older, boring tutors. To these students, I seem like the best, newest thing since sliced bread!
