I started playing the violin at 8 years old, and during my middle and high school years, I had the privilege to play in orchestras and ensembles at both the state and national levels. While in college, I played in the university orchestra as well as in a quartet, providing music to local events and weddings.
I am a fun and attentive teacher who has had experience teaching introductory music to kids of all ages and in both private-instruction and public-classroom settings.
I try to make classical music relevant and fun, while also incorporating elements popular to today's music, all in a cohesive effort to nurture a child's interest and curiosity in the great world of music.
