Even as a little girl, learning, knowledge, and passing it on to others was a passion of mine. I would always finish my work early and be assigned to help other students. In college I volunteered as an ESL tutor and often helped my classmates with work.
In high school, I took eleven AP courses and received scores of "5" in English language, English literature, Calculus AB, Chemistry, US History, and Psychology. I maintained a GPA of over 4.0. I received my undergraduate degree in English and Psychology from the College of William and Mary in 2005. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a overall GPA of 3.74. I'm currently halfway through my Master's Degree in Professional Writing from Old Dominion University, and have also taken graduate course work in Technical Writing from Texas Tech University. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA during my graduate studies.
Through my studies in English language and literature, I've developed the ability to communicate effectively through writing. I've also developed effective verbal communication skills through my work experience in Property Management. As a tutor I am patient and detailed. I will explain things in an understandable way and make sure you feel confident before we move on. I'm easy going but I will be firm in encouraging you to aspire to the highest level of work and understanding possible.
