I enjoy learning and teaching. I am a student, a teacher, an employee, and a parent. Lots of lessons have been learned the old fashioned way, through repetition and hard work. Through my learning at various levels in my career, I have found that one-on-one personal interaction is the style that suits me best. I love to integrate real-life examples into the things that I teach. I tutor children of all ages from 5 years old through entry level college students. I am dependable and honest. I will not waste your money because I work, too. I know how valuable your dollars are. If I am not familiar enough with a subject to help you or your child improve, I can't in good conscience charge you one dime.
My SAT scores were 640 math, 640 verbal, back when the top score was 1600. I have attended college, majoring in chemistry, and kept a 3.6 GPA. I am finishing my degree at Georgia State University on a part time basis. I work in a chemical laboratory, perfoming most all of the tests that the PhD chemists perform. I use high level statistics programs and have to compute various complex mathematical formulations every day. For the last 15 years, I have tutored relatives, friends, and colleagues in both subjects I knew, and subjects I had never taken before. I help others write proposals, official documents, as well as giving lectures at work. I am a practical, very no nonsense person that loves achievement, and I won't settle for less. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns BEFORE you hire me.
