My name is Van, a college student at the University of North Florida. I am currently working on my first bachelor degree in Philosophy. I have maintained above a 3.8 GPA through out high school and college.In truth, I am a very dedicated and committed student who also have numerous tutoring experience. I have tutored children from ages 6 to 13 with basic academic subjects. I was also a teacher assistant in various courses such as middle school math and science.
Furthermore, since I am a student myself, I can relate to you and understand your own personal needs. Not only will I tutor you child and help you her to understand the subject better, I will also teach you ways to learn more effectively such as note taking, studying, or test taking strategies.
I truly believe that learning is a skill in it self and you need to learn that skill in order to be good at it. Therefore, once you have mastered these learning skills, you will enjoy learning much more as it will be come easier for you.
