I am currently a college student studying in Las Vegas. I enjoy teaching, as well as learning. I attended high school in a small town outside of Las Vegas. It was there that I learned the importance of one-on-one time between students and teachers. The school was extremely small (my graduating class had 17 kids in total), and I graduated Salutatorian of my class, with a 4.28 GPA.
I have not had any professional tutoring experience, however, as my younger brother began high school I helped him with his homework and test preparation. Also, while attending high school I helped my fellow students comprehend the difficult math problems, or the theories that helped form them.
I have always been interesting in tutoring. I will make it my personal goal to help you not only get the right answer, but to help you understand how you got it, and why it works the way it does. I don't believe in just learning how to take tests, but rather actually learning the material so the tests aren't a problem anymore.
I will not be a harsh teacher. I'm very patient, and I believe that I explain things very well. I'm very compassionate, and I will try my hardest to help you succeed.
