I speak fluent Japanese, and lived and worked in Japan for 8 years and managed an office in Tokyo for a year, as well as working for the Federal Government while in Japan. I am rated as a Japanese linguist with the U.S. Department of Defense. I also instructed conversational English at Fujitsu and Yokohama Tire.

Martial Arts:
I hold black belt ranking in both Chinese KungFu - Shuai Chiao, and Japanese Judo. I am a former U.S. middle weight National Champion in Shuai Chiao, and have been teaching for over 18 years.
I am also a Silver and Bronze medalist in Tokyo regional Judo competitions.
