Greetings to Prospective Students,
My name is Steve. I wish to introduce myself and express serious interest in tutoring your child through the WyzAnt network.
I am a sincere and dedicated educator working for the advancement of all my English and Spanish students. Being well especially well-versed in language, literature, and the humanities, I am willing to tutor other subjects as well. I fully embrace the critical educational objectives WyzAnt encourages, and am especially motivated to help my students reach their personal educational goals.
You will see that my broad range of work and life experiences, extensive education, expertise in language arts and media, cultural knowledge and sensitivity, dedication to the field of education, and strong work ethic make me uniquely qualified to be your tutor. I pride myself in being a catalyst for my student's overall positive development, and always strive to "go the distance" for them in assisting them to achieve it.
Complimenting my advanced credentials in Liberal and Hispanic Studies, I am completely bilingual in Spanish and maintain a heartfelt affinity with Latino communities. Last academic year I successfully taught at several public and private schools through the IES Language Foundation. Prior to teaching, I ran a Hispanic immigrant advocacy center, edited a bilingual regional monthly magazine, and hosted a live bilingual radio talk show. These experiences were highly rewarding and have led to my continued interest education-related work with organizations such as WyzAnts.
In addition to the abovementioned experience and education, you will also find that I breathe creative, fresh, innovative ideas, unrelenting integrity, and a positive attitude into all my lessons. I believe you would be pleased with my efforts on behalf of WyzAnts.
