More On Chad's Subjects:

  • baseball

Playing baseball and softball for 17 years, both organized and...well...unorganized too, my passion has never waivered. Learning to drop a breaking ball with a 12/6 split or a heavy hook at 14 years old from a retired professional pitcher was one of the highlights of my amateur career. I have a son and I hope that someday he will embrace the passion for our national pastime as I have. Until then, I would love to see the growth and maturity of potential hall of famers, right here in my own backyard. We’ll talk about philosophy, focus and consistency. Whether you are a starting pitcher or part time Right Fielder or pinch runner, it is about teamwork and communication. Winning comes with balance and determination. Balance of schoolwork and play, while focusing on fundamentals. Let’s have some fun!

  • ESL/ESOL

Of all the experiences in my travels, the most interesting would be learning different languages. There are many native English speaking people who believe that wherever they go, English will be spoken. While this may represent an air of arrogance, it is unfortunately true. In order to avoid being the ugly American, I prefer to do my best and try to learn the various languages of the countries I visit. Since most Americans are not required to learn a foreign language, I enjoy meeting people from all over this little sphere we call Earth and learn to say as many basic things as I can, even while at home. In that sprit, I gladly share the learning experience with others who do not speak English. In helping to learn English, I am challenged and will learn as well.

  • general computer

General Computer. Anything with General in the title is a little ambiguous. What do you want to know? I have had the opportunity to work within a wide range of professions, each with their own type of system. While I do not write HTML (I can rewrite some of it) or JAVA, I am able to quickly pick up on any application. If you are just starting out, and need a little guidance, then please, feel free to use me. if you’re looking for knowledge on something specific, then let me know what it is, and we can decide if I can be of assistance. We can learn together if necessary. Good luck!

  • poker

What can I say? Let’s play some cards.

  • theatre

“All the world’s indeed a stage and we are merely players performers and portrayers.” -Neil Peart In reality, your theater experience will resonate throughout your life. Theater teaches you a great many things, from getting over the fear of speaking in front of (or directly to) people, to life skills like listening. High school prepares you for college. College prepares you for work, but nowhere does anyone teach you how to listen. Listening is key in life. You will find that as we move through life, we are ALL actors. In addition, we are all selling something. If you are on an interview for a job, you have to sell yourself to that employer as to why you are the best candidate. When you meet that certain someone, you have to sell them on why you are the best choice. You see, selling is acting. Acting is selling. Everything you do in life will be basically sales. So to learn how to sell, you must learn how to act. It’s an interesting dichotomy, but it’s true. Now, that may be extreme. The bottom line is this: What do you want from your theater experience? Where does your passion lie? Most of us simply get a rush from being up there on stage. Others feel the need to touch another person’s life in some way; make an upset or sad person smile, if even for a moment. You need to ask yourself why you are there, and what you want to do with it. The sky’s the limit. Soar!
