I have tutored Math, Chemistry, and Physics from a 2nd grade level through undergraduate. I consider myself primarily a math tutor for pre-algebra through Calc. II, but I have also worked as a Beacon Tutor for Chemistry at American River College. I have attended the US Naval Academy, American River College, and currently Old Dominion University where I am a junior in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Applied Math. I really enjoy math, and removing the mystery of math so that my students don't just learn how to do the problems, they truly understand why it works. The most common comment I get from my students is, "Why didn't my teacher explain it like that?" I have years of experience, and I would be happy to put them to use for your benefit.
