I have extensive teaching/tutoring experience in French. I am an American woman who is fully bilingual with near-native fluency. I have taught French to hundreds of people at all levels and all ages. I have worked with children as young as 4 and adults as old as 68.

My background includes living in Paris for 2 years where I attended Sorbonne University. I earned a B.A. degree from Bennington College in French Language and Literature. I was given an award for being the Best High School French Student in NYC. I have worked in several French companies using my French skills. I have taught French in after-school programs, private schools, as a substitute teacher, in language schools (Berlitz) and for 4 years as a private tutor.

I am sensitive to the individual needs of each student and work to make French understandable and less daunting, especially grammar. I understand what you are struggling with and I can help you succeed. I am patient and will explain things very clearly. I really care about your success. I want you to do well and to enjoy the process of getting there even if you think you are terrible in French.
