I am a graduate student at the University of South Carolina pursuing a Masters of Arts in Secondary Education. I love to teach all age groups and subjects, have a particular interest in math and science, and a strong aptitude for reading, writing, and vocabulary. I discovered my love of teaching through the application of Horticulture Therapy as a development tool for troubled and at-risk youth in Florence, SC. I find the most rewarding thing about teaching to be the sense of pride and accomplishment a student feels once they have scored an A on a test or paper, and my motivation for tutoring any student is the development of self-confidence they will gain after consistently achieving this goal. I impart the same good study habits and techniques onto my clients that continue to facilitate my successful educational career. I can adjust to any learning style, and work very hard to maintain a comfortable environment for the student. I look forward to working with anyone who is ready and willing to learn.
