Hi!
I'm a good student with a solid history of helping other students. My college and high school records are strong, and I was always available to help my friends with things they did not understand. I grew up as a gifted child, and have a personal stake in my favorite subjects in addition to my academic and professional interests.
I speak fluent German, and I have extensive in-class experience with computer programming, philosophy, religion, German Literature, English Literature, Asian: American: and European World History, and other subjects.
My tutoring style functions with the help of strong, close readings of the selected material; enjoyable and relevant homework assignments; and fun projects worked on together during tutoring time.
I know I would be a good tutor because I have an ability to make the material come alive to the student and make learning not only useful, but enjoyable.
I am a soft-spoken, gentle, patient person, but also have high expectations for anybody working with me. If you put the work in, so will I, and we will be able to achieve much together.
Lastly, I truly hope to be a help to any student who needs some extra encouragement or guidance in any of the subjects I've listed.
