I am a tutor with over five years of experience in the educational field. I worked as a writing tutor at UC Berkeley for three years, training incoming freshmen to write at a collegiate level. After graduating, I completed teacher training with Teach For America, where I taught fifth grade in New York City. I have worked for the past year as an independently contracted tutor for all ages, in all subjects.
My teaching style is feedback oriented and collaborative. I believe that it is my job to create independent, confident students. I love to pass on my enthusiasm for learning and make school more accessible to students who struggle currently. I do this with humor, creativity, and determination.
