I have a diverse background in tutoring. I've worked at the Weissman Center for Leadership at Mt Holyoke College as a writing tutor for my peers. I also assisted ESL students in this role.
I'm an Elementary Certified Teacher in Massachusetts, and I did my student teaching in a diverse 1st grade classroom. During this year, I taught many students how to read.
After college I lead several writing groups in a homeless youth center, an adult assisted living home, and a vocational school for 18-23 year olds. I promoted a supportive environment to write and share those writings.
On a different note, I'm also a BCABA with 6 years of experience working with children with autism. I teach language, play, social and engagement skills to children of all skill levels.
