More On Stephanie's Subjects:

  • Bible studies

I have been an active member of the Lutheran Church of All Saints in McHenry, IL from age two through high school. At that church, I was involved in Sunday School from first through fifth grade and Youth Group from sixth through twelfth grade. My senior year of high school, I was the Youth Group Secretary. I also received my First Communion and went through Confirmation there. I have experience teaching Vacation Bible School and Sunday School at that church. During my first two years of college (2004-2006), I was the Assistant Minister of Music at Joyful Harvest Lutheran Church in Johnsburg, IL, where one of my responsibilities was to coordinate the sermons for the week with the music I selected. At DePaul University in Chicago, IL, where I spent my freshman year of college, I was a part of: The Well, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and L.I.F.T. (Living in Faith Together). While enrolled there, I attended St. James Lutheran Church. I then transferred to Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL for my remaining three years of college. Wheaton College is a non-denominational, Christian community. Interested applicants are required to write essays on their faith and sign a community covenant that promises they will rely on the Lord to live a life that is pleasing to Him. While at Wheaton College, I became a member of Sovereign Grace Church and was a participant in the Singles Care Group. During the summers of 2005, 2006, and 2007, I took trips to various parts of China to spread the gospel. I underwent extensive training and orientation prior to each journey. I worked as a Youth Group Leader at Gloria Mission Church from 2006-2007. My responsibilities included leading Bible studies every Sunday afternoon and Youth Group activities every Thursday evening. On those Thursday nights, I would lead a time of worship through song, sharing how our week had gone, prayer, and Bible study. I am currently going through a membership class at Desert Springs Church in Albuquerque, NM. I also am a regular attender of The Well (the College/Young Adult ministry at the church).

My lessons include recitals for parents and friends at the end of each season. I teach all ages and musical styles and welcome all inquiries.
