My name is Lauren and I live in North Attleboro, MA. I hold a Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems and a minor degree in Management from Bentley College. I have also completed several business courses at The Community College of Rhode Island.
I have experience in tutoring grades K-11, however I am offering my services for grades K-6 as well as standardized test preparation in GED, PSAT, SAT and state school tests. I am able to tutor in all subject areas including: language arts; reading; vocabulary; writing; spelling; grammar; mathematics (basic, pre-algebra; algebra and geometry); science.
I can also help improve study skills, organizational skills, note taking and classroom performance.
I taught my son, who is now 5, to read by the time he was 4. He is currently reading at a 2nd-3rd grade level and has just started kindergarten.
I am extremely patient and caring. My teaching style is strict but flexible to each child's needs.
If you child does not have homework or a test to prepare for at the time of our session, I will bring workbooks and worksheets to teach with.
