I am a graduate of Roger Williams University with a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and History. I have two years of experience as a writing tutor in a professional environment at the college level. I have worked with students at all ends of the writing skill spectrum, including foreign exchange students.
I am willing to help students at any point in the writing process--even if you just need someone to discuss a strategy with, help with researching, or final touches. My teaching style involves first and foremost asking you what you feel you need to work on. I will then conduct an initial review of the paper, followed by in depth critique. I will explain any mistakes I find, from grammar to structure to word choice.
I can be considered up front, but I have a lot of patience and I am always willing to explain things further should anything be unclear.
