I graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in chemical engineering and a minor in chemistry. While in college, I tutored engineering students in calculus, chemistry, differential equations, and engineering problem solving (sort of a general engineering 101 that involved excel, etc.). My teaching style is hands on - I will be involved in learning a method until the student has a handle on it and can do it themselves. My specialties are math, science and reading.
