Hello, my name is Kelly and I am a freshman at the University of West Georgia, majoring in mass communications and deciding between math and computer graphics for a minor. I have been doing web and graphics design for 8 and a half years with expertise in Adobe Photoshop, HTML, CSS, and some PHP. I have never gotten lower than a 95 in a math class, up to Calculus I my senior year of high school. My SAT scores do not reflect my actual skill level in mathematics as standardized testing is not my strong suit.

It isn't very easy for all students to grasp the concepts of mathematics in the classroom setting, which is why I enjoy doing one-on-one work with math students. I already have experience in tutoring algebra 2, geometry, and trigonometry, raising a student's grade from being around 60 to currently the second highest grade in his class with a 97. I can explain step-by-step how to do math problems and I have the patience to explain in whatever way a student needs to understand. I also do some online mathematics help in everything from algebra to precalculus on various websites.

With web and graphics design, I do online lessons on how to work Photoshop and how to code certain parts of websites. I can explain both online and in person on how to work anything from Photoshop 7 to Photoshop CS4 (beta). I can work Dreamweaver, FrontPage, and I can code websites by hand.

  I have been doing web and graphics design for eight and a half years. I started when I was nine years old where I picked up the interest from another website. I have self-taught myself everything I know and I am continuing to learn new aspects relating to graphics and web design every day. I have made websites for small businesses as well has personal websites. I have been paid for both graphics and web design. HTML was the first part of web design I learned and I am most familiar with it over every other part. I do all of my HTML coding by hand so I am able to customize the code to how I need it and I know how to fix any minor mistakes I might make. I can also work with Dreamweaver and FrontPage and customize the codes created through those websites. I am comfortable with tutoring up to any level of HTML.

  I have been doing web design for eight and a half years now and I am continuing to learn more. I know everything from HTML to CSS and some PHP and MySQL. I can use Dreamweaver, FrontPage, and I can hand code and upload via FTP or in an internal website manager, such as cPanel. I can create the graphics for websites using both Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop, and I am sure I could figure out other graphic designing programs. I can edit code given to me to customize to my liking and I can create the codes from scratch. I can follow tutorials to learn more aspects of web design and I can write tutorials to teach others how to do what I can do. I can tutor with anything up to certain aspects of PHP using any web page editing program or a simple program such as Notepad.
