I teach a range of subjects from English to HTML. I have authored a number of books, and I can help you gather your thoughts for that essay, help you study for the SAT verbal, or get you up to speed in ESL English in accelerated time. I can also teach you HTML, MS Word, or jump-start your basic computer literacy in a combination of Spanish and English.I like to have a pretty solid idea of what it is you want to learn, so I can make recommendations for practice and drill post-lesson.   No one writes web pages in raw HTML anymore, but you need a solid understanding of raw HTML to troubleshoot code from popular development tools, like Dreamweaver or Mozilla Composer. Sometimes the editor just isn't doing what you want it to. All those little commas, parenthesis, and color codes are important if you want to become a serious web developer. The good news is HTML is easy when you understand the key tags and their different attributes, that is, the parts that tell the browser how high and wide an image will be, or what color a visited link will be, or many other appearances and behaviors of the web page. HTML is also important if you want to master tables, which are the building blocks of many page lay-outs. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to make an HTML editor give you a certain effect, and not having the control you need. Being able to dig into the HTML gives you the power! I take you further than HTML if you like, into things like web hosting control panels and platforms like WordPress, to set you on your way to becoming a real webmaster.
