Hi,

My name is Martha. I used to be a Para Professional with Tucson Unified School District in Billingual Special Education many years ago. I did tutor students as needed or as requested.

I enjoyed my job being I enjoy seeing students learn. It is such a reward seeing a smile when they thought they would never understand a subject.

I like to tutor in a fun way making it fun for the student. Each child/student is different so I go with the personality of the student.

My daughters ages 23, 24 and 14 have taught me alot being they have different ways of learning and I am there to help.

I started working with TUSD when my oldest started kinder. I volunteered at her school in which she soon had advanced to a GATES program. I was offered the opportunity to become a billingual para professional in which I took a test and past.

I currently babysit my grandchildren 2 to 3 days a week. Of course, I am teaching my 2 1/2 year old to read & write at a very young age.

In my eyes every student is intelligent no matter what age in his/her own way and no child is left behind.
