If you need foreign language help, or want to learn a language, you've come to the right place. I cannot help you with math or science. My brain just doesn't work that way. But anything having to do with foreign languages/cultures are my thing. I have always been fascinated with them and have excelled in those fields. I have been lucky enough to have visited more than 10 countries on three continents in my relatively short lifetime. Everywhere I've been has taught me something about that particular place, the US and myself. I enjoy sharing my experiences with people. It is a big part of how I teach. I am able to share many personal references. Right now I teach ESL classes at a local technical college and I have taught languages both in the US and overseas to adults and children alike. After starting college as a Geography major, I then switched to Modern Languages and Linguistics, specializing in Spanish and French. While my buddies studied IT because "that's where the jobs are", I greatly enjoyed my course work and thus my college experience. I get a great deal of satisfaction and fulfillment from teaching and sharing with those who are interested.

  Currently I teach adult ESL courses at the Interactive College of Technology in Gainesville, GA. My background is in foreign languages and linguistics. Currently I teach English to adults but I have also taught children. I taught English for one year in Dijon, France to native school children in the public school system there. It was a very fulfilling and rewarding experience. I have also taught Spanish and French to children and adults here in the US. The languages I speak in order of fluency are English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. I fully understand what is necessary to learn another language.

  Soccer (football) is a big part of my life. I started playing almost 20 years ago. I played forward/striker for my high school varsity team in NY. I played inter-murals for 2 years in college. I have coached youth soccer on and off for the past 10 years. Now my 9 yr old son and 5 yr old daughter also play and love the game. I also consider myself a fan, and a student of the game. The sport means alot to me and my family.
