I love helping students see the importance of, and understand, science and math. I have a bachelors degree in chemistry, with a minor in mathematics. I know many students struggle with science and math, but I am so excited about these subjects. I tutored several college students in both chemistry and mathematics. I also worked as a teaching assistant for five different chemistry courses. I am patient and like to go through many examples to be sure the student understands the material. I also firmly believe in helping the student solve a problem rather than solving it for them. I like to ask questions to get them thinking on the right track to discover the solution themselves.
