I have taught in a high-performing public school in the Bronx for the last two years and am now moving out of the classroom.
In addition to my Masters of Science for Teachers from Pace University, New York, I have an undergraduate degree (highest honors) in English with an emphasis on creative writing and poetry, and an undergraduate degree (high honors) in Religious Studies.
I have won numerous poetry contests at the undergraduate level. I have been published in fiction, poetry, and essay.
My teaching style is results-oriented with the needs of the individual learner taking precedence over everything else.
In addition to public school teaching, I have tutored at the university level for two years in English and Writing.
