I love to mentor students particularly in biology and chemistry. I have loved science ever since I was little, and I have been focused on Science ever since. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a structured minor in Chemistry, Math, and Physics at the University of Arizona. I recently graduated with my Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Cancer Biology from Duke University. Now I work at a research institute on a project focused on understanding what makes pancreatic cancer cells so resistant to cancer drugs. Once we understand this escape mechanism, we can design better drugs.
I want to tutor because I love to share my love of Science. I have mentored many students over the course of my career, and I would like to continue teaching the scientists of tomorrow.
