About Jennifer:

Hi, I'm Jen. I live in Livonia, MI and went to high school there as well. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with a minor in Management from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. I am currently working at a chemical company doing research, so no worries, I actually still use the math and chemistry I learned in school! While I was in college, my counselor actually asked me to tutor her daughter in high school chemistry. I've learned many different ways to do things and realize that people learn in different ways, so the best way is to find what works for you. Not try and make you understand something in one way only. And a little about me, I love sports and played travel fastpitch softball for many years, after graduating I even went back and helped coach the high school team. I'm available to help with anything and want to, so get back and let me know!

More On Jennifer's Subjects:

  • softball

First of all, I played competitive fastpitch softball for 6 years. I played 3rd base (all-district) for my high school varsity team as well as that and middle infield on my travel team. The summer after my senior year I worked as a USSSA umpire and also coached a 10u travel team. After that I went back to my high school and became the assistant varsity coach. I also worked at a well known softball academy for many years and have helped as an instructor at many clinics. I am a great fundamentals coach as I have been taught very well and for 3 summers straight, I practiced for hours every weekday and then played double headers Mondays thru Thursdays and weekend tournaments. I was a dedicated player who loved the game and would love to work with anyone who feels the same!
