Currently residing in University City, Philadelphia, I graduated from Swarthmore College this past spring with a degree in Math and Music. While there I forged a remarkable academic track-record, finishing among the elite of my class and earning membership in Phi Beta Kappa with a GPA of 3.94. Meanwhile, over the last three years, I've shared my academic passion around campus as a tutor, among other things spearheading a Music Theory Clinic for the college and, with demonstrated success, elucidating middle and high school math to younger students of the community. What interests me most is developing and reinforcing an exceptionally strong foundation of study habits and language/math skills in younger students, setting them down the road to sustainable intellectual growth. However, I'd also be excited to work in any number of specific subjects--virtually anything through high school, including Spanish, German, and Latin--and could certainly offer plenty of helpful advice in the context of test preparation (see standardized test history below, if interested). Above all, though, I care deeply about the students' progress and understanding, and make it my highest priority to ensure present and future academic success.
