I just graduated from Duke with a bachelors of science in biological anthropology and anatomy and a minor in chemistry (deans list Fall 2006 and Spring 2008). I have taken a lot of the core science courses which include chemistry, calculus, biology, physics, and lots of anatomy for my major and have done well in them averaging about a 3.8 in my major. In addition I have also taken education classes that have given me the background and training to tutor (over 60 hours of experience in tutoring) elementary kids in Durham public schools ranging from K-6. In fact this summer I was a sixth grade science teacher for a summer enrichment program for middle schoolers and am still working as a volunteer to tutor one of them during the school year. As a tutor I understand that my job goes beyond just helping you with your homework. I also intend on helping you develop the skils that will enable you to do better in the long run.
