I did my undergraduate degree in French and art (a concentration in photography) at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY. While there I was on the varsity equestrian team. I spent my junior semester abroad in Paris at l'Universite de la Sorbonne, where I did my coursework in phonetics, grammar, art history, and French architectural history. After graduating in May of 05 with my bachelor's in French and Art, I spent two years in Nice, France teaching spoken English to French (and other nationality) college students.
I have done some tutoring in Nice, working with students on their spoken English. My teaching style in the classroom is somewhat structured, I tend to make a loose lesson plan, allowing for conversation that may come from what the lesson entails. My none structured style is to teach what needs people need help with. IE pronunciation, reading comprehension etc.
