Hello and thanks for stopping by! Even though my career path has taken a different route, I think a part of me will forever wish I had gone into teaching.
In the meantime, I am an editor/copywriter at Hallmark Cards...a company I've always dreamed of working for...but I am determined to get my "teaching fix" in other ways. So here I am.
I love anything that has to do with words—from the way they're understood and pronounced, to the way they're strung together to create beautiful literary masterpieces. More importantly, I love sharing that passion with others and helping them to overcome challenges that may be hindering their learning process.
In addition to my love of words, I'm also a "hoop head." I played basketball throughout high school, as well as 5 years at the Division I college level. I have a passion for the game, as well as a passion for how to teach it. I have spent the past 4 years coaching youth girls basketball (grades 2-7) and I feel that my coaching style and tutoring style are very similar.
Although I no longer coach at the team level because of the time commitment, I do offer individual workouts sessions.
