Sung grew up in Taiwan and came to United States when she was 16. She has been tutoring Chinese since college. While attending San Francisco State University, she was also a part-time food columnist at Singtao Chinese Newspaper. Sung enjoys teaching Chinese and sharing Chinese culture with her students.
