I'm a 25 year old graduate of RPI with a degree in biochemistry/biophysics. I have strong interest in public health and public policy; I start my masters in public health at SUNY Albany in the spring. My strengths are in the physical sciences and math, but my english skills are also very strong. I have two years of substitute teaching experience, grades K-12, including long term placements in math, particularly algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus. I have been tutoring in the sciences and math for 10 years now, with very positive results. I also have considerable experience taking and tutoring standardized tests. I scored 780 Math and 760 Verbal on the old SATs and have successfully tutored half a dozen students on the new test. I also scored a 40 on the MCATs and helped several college students prepare for their test.I also have extensive instructional experience as a leader in the boy scouts both as a unit leader and as a summer camp counselor for 8 years.
