I am a mother of 4 teenagers ages 13-17 years old. I enjoy teaching and learning. I graduated from Albion College with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Sociology with my emphasis in Communications. I enjoy helping others learn. I home schooled my own children for 8 years. I have worked in adult education settings through elementary settings. My own children have very diverse learning styles--so I am flexible and able to adapt to the student's learning style. I prefer for the student to learn through experience rather than worksheets and monotonous repetition. I think being able to actually apply what they have learned is a real benefit--and I approach teaching that way. I feel I can relate to almost any student and look forward to meeting you!
