My name is Suzanne . I have been teaching for 22 years. I have a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Gifted Education. I have taught students from pre-k to middle school. My master’s degree and experience have given me the tools and knowledge to help underachieving students to gain confidence and motivation to reach their potential. I believe that learning can be fun and that students learn more when they are actively involved in the learning process. My teaching style includes using real life examples, hands on activities and low stress approach. My goal not only includes helping a student become proficient in an academic area of weakness but to encourage students to become lifelong learners, curious about the world with the tools to explore and learn beyond the classroom. I also know that the real world involves test taking and give my students the strategies they need to take their knowledge and apply it successfully when taking a test.
