On my first try at the SAT I scored an 1170. I maintained a high GPA all through school. I enjoy researching and studying a variety of subjects just for fun. I like to at least know a little bit about a lot. I enjoy participating in conversations that venture outside of the everyday topics. I use to be such a math whiz in school, that is until I met Calculus. That is the only subject to have left me stumped. I would love to be able to "get it" someday. Still, because I did so well in all my other senior year subjects, including physics and computer programming, I managed to come out with a 3.4 GPA. Since then, I have not met a question that I was afraid to find the answer for.

• Bible studies

  I studied for one year at Nazarene Bible College online where I plan to obtain a BA Ministry in Christian School education or Counseling. During my year of studies, I learned about the backdrop in which the Holy Bible was written. I not only learned about the stories of the Bible, but I also learned about the historical events that had an impact on the Bible, the Jews, and early Christians.

  I am a teacher by nature. I have a way of teaching young children that makes it fun for them. I have an 8 year old who has always been ahead of the curve because I take the time to teach him at home and as I teach him, he learns to enjoy the learning experience. I have that same ability with other children as well. I would love to help your elementary children to find ways to make learning fun and effective.

  Fortunately I've grown up with a computer as a normal part of my education. I have always been interested in maximizing the usefulness of the computer from using it to store pertinent information to creating helpful documents for work, home, and school.

• study skills

  When I went to college straight out of highschool, I found myself helping others with their study techniques. I took notes so well that my professors asked me to take notes for those students who had learning disabilities and didn't have proper studying and note taking skills. I can teach you how to study for success. I have many tips and techniques that will help you to maximize your time spent studying so that you can work smarter, not harder.
