I graduated from Rider University Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Education and Psychology. I have four sons who are all fantastic students and education has always been an emphasis in our home.

I am currently employed in the Corporate world but desire a position tutoring in the afternoons, evenings and weekends. My experience comes from both the classroom as well as many hours spent working with my sons on their homework assignments.

I believe one-on-one tutoring sessions are a valuable asset to any education. Often in the classroom, the teacher must continue on with lessons to spite the fact that some students have not gained the required comprehension of a certain topic. Once a student "falls behind" it is often a long and frustrating process to get back on track. Tutoring is a means to insure that a student acquires a complete understanding of subject matter and is therefore prepared to continue successfully with their studies.

Each and every student has a different learning style. Tutoring allows for instruction to be geared toward that individual. My psychology and education background enables me to determine the style that will work best for each student.

  I graduated summa cum laude from Rider University with degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology. My student teaching was completed in a fourth grade classroom and I have completed several substitute positions in various grades ranging from K-8. In addition, I am the mother of four sons ranging in age from 12 to 17. Therefore, I am very familar with the needs of an elementary age student.

  I graduated summa cum laude from Rider University with majors in Elementary Education as well as pyschology. While I did not pursue the path of obtaining special needs certification, my course study and experience has given me a great understanding of what a special needs individual requires in order to succeed. During my student teaching as well as in a few substitute positions in NJ, I have worked with special needs students.

  I have degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology. However, my most valuable experience providing study skills assistance comes from working with my four sons as well as many of their friends and other family members. I have worked with numerous students to assist them in developing a study skills plan to assure that they understand the steps and tasks required to get the most out of their study time. I am a firm believer that not every student can study using the same techniques. Depending on the type of learner an individual is, there is a study plan that will work best for that person.
