Hello, I am a recent graduate of Lincoln University and am currently obtaining my Secondary Education Certification. I hold degrees in Criminal Justice and History and plan to be a High School History teacher within the next year. My philosophy is collaborative teaching (student centered). I believe students should have the ability to learn on their own while being directed, so the teaching models I use are complimentary to my teaching philosophy. They are also well researched and tested. Overall, I believe that children should feel comfortable in their abilities and themselves. Self-esteem is very important as well as self-expression. I provide a non-judgmental and patient approach that allows children to develop their abilities and build their self-esteem.
