I have worked with children and adults of all ages, most of whom were not successful in a classroom setting. I love when my students "get" what I am teaching and I keep trying to find new ways to teach until that happens. I understand the problems that come with being ADHD and my goal is always to build confidence along with knowledge. I also understand how difficult it is to study a subject that has always been a problem, how hard it is to "make yourself" work on it. I also know how great it feels to master a subject that seemed impossible to conquer.
I have worked with kids who were behaviorally challenged and young adults and adults involved in the criminal justice system. I have taught in grade schools, special ed, junior high, high school and college. I have also taught senior citizens how to use the internet.
I love working one-on-one, and my students and I always have fun together while they learn.
