My name is Katharina. I moved to the US from Berlin Germany in 1997. I have lived and visited many different countries in the world. Languages and different cultures have always been my passion. I am a native German speaker and go back to Berlin at least once a year to visit my family. I lived and studied human resources in Aix-en-Provence, France in 1991-92. One of my subjects at the Universitaet Erlangen-Nuernberg was French socio-economy and I wrote my thesis about a subject that was based almost entirely on French literature resources. In 1995 I lived in Puebla, Mexico and Mexico City, Mexico for 6 months in order to complete internships at SKF (produces ball bearings for Volkswagen) and the German Chamber of Commerce. Languages are the heart of a culture. Want to learn about a culture, learn the language and you will understand the people. I am looking forward to helping you see into the heart of a new culture by teaching you the language.
