I love young people! I love helping people to learn! I love seeing success! I have worked as everything from a camp counselor to a college professor, grades kindergarten through masters degree. I'm also a mother and grandmother, so I've helped people with their homework on an informal basis, too.
Although counseling psychology was my major profession, I particularly enjoyed helping my students learn successful study techniques for all their subjects, especially research and writing skills. In addition, I love Spanish and reading. I lived in Puerto Rico for a time, where I started a book club that still flourishes.
While most of my students at various universities have been adults, I never tire of children's stories and elementary education. So I will happily tutor students of all ages.
