Hi, my name is Jackie and I just finished my Master of Science degree in Biomedical Basic Sciences in Denver. I am originally from Colorado Springs, and graduated from UCCS in May 2006 with a double major in Biology and Chemistry. While at UCCS, I worked as a lab instructor and in the Science Learning Center. I also volunteered at the CU Institute of Bioenergetics learning valuable research techniques which helped me in graduate school. I enjoy helping others learn about the subjects for which I have passion.

    I have played competitive volleyball since I was 11 years old. I participated in both school sponsored and club level volleyball teams. My high school team went to the Colorado State tournament in 2000, where I was a starting setter. My club teams have also gone to Junior Nationals and have boasted coaches such as Wayne Sombric (formerly of Colorado College) and Kara Milling (of the indoor USA Women's volleyball team 2000).
