I am credentialed science teacher with CA teaching credentials for biology, chemistry, and general science. My teaching experience is mostly comprised of teaching middle school, as well as high school students. With a strong background in the sciences and mathematics, and a clear sense of how to relate to teenagers, I have been very successful in helping students achieve their goals in multiple subjects (specifically science, math, English/writing, and swimming) through tutoring/coaching. My teaching style involves a mixture of traditional skill building and innovative techniques that work well to help students build a deep understanding of academic content. I'm available weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as occasional weekends. On a side note, I love to read, surf, maintain a positive attitude and enjoy nature.
