My name is Amanda and I am a certified Elementary and Special Education teacher. I am certified to teacher grades K-8th. I have experience working in an inner city with students from all different diverse backgrounds. I have worked with many different types of students and ability levels, including students with special needs. I have worked with students who have learning disabilities and autism. I student taught in a Resource setting which is a one-on-one or small group setting so I have plenty of experience in this field. I like to help students achieve their own personal goals as well as the goals their families and teachers have set for them. I am very strong on hands on learning and trying to make learning enjoyable for the students.
