I recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a double-major in History and English. I graduated with a 3.69, and I had a 3.9 and a 3.82 in my respective majors. I also minored in Philosophy. I am an excellent writer. I know all of the stylistic tricks and the grammatical rules. I know how to "clean up" a paper. I know how to make flat prose sing. So, with me, you will get someone who knows how to write, who knows how to properly read and analyze a novel or a non-fiction piece, and who knows his history, particularly European. I am also qualified to teach Geometry and Algebra I. I teach these subjects at a learning center, and I received "A's" in all of my Calculus courses in college. Finally, I scored a 1400 on my SAT back in 2003 before they had a writing section, and I scored a 1490 on my GRE in 2007. So, I can teach you how to master the often formidable standardized test. And most importantly, I am really friendly and sweet, and thus a true pleasure to have as a tutor.
