I am a very patient and creative person, and I learned how to instruct people of all different kinds while working in management. I love English, Reading, Computers, Music Appreciation, and Science. I also love to learn, and realize that everyone learns differently. In high school, I had a friend who was dyslexic, and helped her improve her grades by inventing different ways to understand her lessons. I would like to share this kind of creativity with students having a difficult time learning, and hope that my genuine love for knowledge will help anyone that I tutor.

  I have been sewing since I was four years old, which gives me 30 years of experience in this area. My grandmother used to sew bathing suits for Esther Williams and was the first to teach me to thread a sewing machine. Later that year, I made my first pillow for my doll. Since then, I have made everything from curtains to formal gowns. My mother and grandmother taught me how to use both machine and handwork techniques, and so I am able to add embellishments as well as construction. In addition, I have learned to create my own unique patterns instead of commercially created ones.
