I have a degree in Gerontology and have held many positions in Long Term Care. I have also held positions in Marketing within Executive Recruiting, where I was responsible for editing and proofreading, along with being an intermediate user of all Microsoft products. I also play many sports; including basketball and volleyball. I feel I am an expert in all the subjects and sports that I have mentioned. I feel that I am a patient teacher and believe in empowering those that I tutor to truly understand what they are learning.

  I have been playing basketball since the age of 3. I was on the first State Final 4 team in my High School's history. I have continued into adulthood by playing in leagues and instructing.

• general computer

  I currently work in a job skill training organization, where I am responsible for training older adults in many skills, including computer and internet navigation.

• study skills

  I work with older adults in job skills training, which includes studying for employment exams and job search testing.

• track & field

  I have been involved in track and field since 3 and was involved in Jr. Olympics since a young age. I was all conference in long jump and hurdles and I keep abreast by watching and reading about Olympic-level athletes.

• volleyball

  I have been playing volleyball since a young age and enjoy playing into adulthood on inside and sand volleyball leagues. I have competed on a semi-professional level, as well.
